Homeschool with Purpose Parent Agreement

As a parent/guardian in this co-op, I understand and agree to the following:

  1. Sick Policy Awareness
I will keep my child home if they are sick or showing symptoms of illness, and will follow the co-op’s guidelines for when it is safe to return.

  2. Supervision Commitment
I understand that this is not a drop-off program. I (or an approved caregiver) will remain on-site and be available for my child during co-op hours. I will complete background check required by Bethany Church. Anyone who plans to attend with your child needs to complete the background check before they attend co-op. Please complete this at the beginning of the year so it is approved before they do need to attend.

  3. Support My Child’s Participation
I will go over the student agreement with my child, helping them understand the expectations for behavior, kindness, and respect, and will encourage them to follow it.

If I am not being respectful, I understand I will:

o   Receive a verbal warning.

o   If it continues, I will be sent to hall with classroom buddy.

o   If it still continues, I will be sent to my parent.

4. Communication is Key
I will do my best to keep my team lead and Skylar updated with:

    • Any planned absences

    • Illness or emergencies

    • Any concerns or issues that may arise

    • I will communicate with Skylar about any supplies I may need from her by Tuesday the week of my assigned week.

    • I will present Skylar with receipt of anything I purchase for co-op for refund.

    • If our family decided co-op is not for us, I will let Skylar know as soon as possible.

5.     Leadership Team Support

o   I will do my best to be present on my assigned leadership days. If I’m unable to attend, I will find coverage or communicate early so a plan can be made. I will make sure all supplies can get to the team lead or Skylar that I have.

o   On my leadership day I will arrive by 8:40 to ensure my lesson and classroom is ready for the morning.

o   On my leadership day I will follow the clean-up check list to make sure our ending classroom is reset and cleaned for the church.

o   I will be an active participant in the classroom on my non-leadership days.

  1. Cooperative Spirit
I recognize that this co-op thrives when we all pitch in. I agree to serve with a gracious attitude and work together to make this space uplifting and Christ-centered for all families involved.

  2. I agree to wear my name tag every week

This helps students know who I am and ensures that everyone in the building is recognized as part of our approved co-op community. It’s an important part of keeping our environment safe and welcoming.

My Commitment:

I understand that this co-op is built on shared responsibility, mutual respect, and a love for Christ. I agree to partner with the leaders, teachers, and families to help create a safe, joyful, and enriching environment.
